Midland House

Sector:            Education
Location:       Staffordshire
Status:            Completed

Built in 1872, Midland House in Derby was originally built by Midland Railway and designed as offices. It was later converted into Derby Cathedral school and as part of Affinity’s appointment, we provided RIBA stage 4 services for Architecture, M&E and Structural Engineering as part of a series of refurbishment projects within the school. The scope of works involved a full refurbishment of classrooms, communal areas and external courtyards within wings B and C.

Construction work was completed in late 2020.
